Texas
The Unit Trip was to Texas; we visited major works of architecture by Louis Kahn - the Kimbell Museum - and Renzo Piano - the Menil Collection, and of an important contemporary architect, Carlos Jiménez; we also saw works by Philip Johnson, Mies van der Rohe, and Frank Lloyd Wright. We made studies in the Galleria shopping mall in Dallas, car-parks in downtown Houston, and at the Chinati Foundation.
